Terms and Conditions

By becoming a member of Java you become subject to the Java terms and conditions, all information provided shall be treated in the strictest of confidence.

On receipt of payment Java will issue a member's card and number.

Membership is non-transferable, non refundable and is for a minimum period of one year.

Java management reserves the right of admission to Java and may expel any member or guest whose conduct is such as shall in its opinion be injurious to the character of Java or the interests of its members. Java in its absolute discretion and without ascribing any reasons therefor may terminate the membership of any member refunding that unexpired portion of their current subscription.

All memberships shall be paid annually. Payments are due in advance of the period to which they relate.

No credit will be given to any member or guest. All bills must be settled during the course of their visit.

You will be invited to all member's events unless you have requested to be excluded from this benefit.

If your card is lost or damaged there is a replacement fee of £10.00 to cover the cost.

If you invite guests to Java you will be responsible for them while they are on the premises. A member is responsible at all times for the conduct of their guests and is liable for any damage or debts incurred by them. If behaviour is deemed unacceptable by guests Java reserves the right to revoke the membership.

Member's guest lists must adhere to the mixed/higher female ratio regulations.

Members must invite reputable guests and guest lists must be submitted prior to 7 p.m.

Tables at Java have a minimum spend and this applies.

The VIP area of Java is not available for reservation.

Entry to the VIP room is subject to capacity and the door's discretion.

You will be required to provide all guests' names and contact details whether at the pre-booking stage or upon entry.

All Members and their guests must be dress appropriately

Friday Night Dress Code

• Over 21’s
• Smart Casual attire is welcomed

Saturday

• Over 23's and dress code smart
• No Boots (gents)
• Smart/stylish top (i.e. Gents in Collars)
• Smart shoes required

Private membership will still require entry fee payment. Guests of private members can be added to the guest list at the management’s discretion. All guests will be required to pay an entrance fee.

Exclusive and Corporate memberships are not required to pay entrance fee to Java and qualify for the admittance of one guest free of charge.

In the event of any dispute arising out of the interpretation of these rules, the decision of Java on such interpretation will be final.

Java and its owners do not accept responsibility for any loss or damage to the property of a member or guest of a member which may occur while he or she is on the premises.
